Kagura Seimenjo™ is our kamaage Sanuki udon specialty restaurant that uses fully-matured flour and other local ingredients from Sanuki to reproduce the authentic taste of the local food. Kamaage udon is a noodle dish that is served in a communal hot-pot with hot water, and accompanied by a hot dipping sauce of Japanese broth and soy sauce. Our restaurant uses special wheat flour through a business tie-up with Yoshihara Shokuryo, the largest flourmill in Kagawa Prefecture established in 1902. By using soft water from Sanuki, we are able to bring out the full flavor of the udon and offer the same chewy texture and sensation when swallowing the noodles as the Sanuki udon that is loved by the local people of Sanuki. In addition, we use Marukin soy sauce from Shodojima and Kadoya sesame oil to faithfully reproduce the genuine taste of the local specialty.
Kagura™ is a self-service style restaurant offering a variety of noodle dishes such as our signature kamaage udon, bukkake udon (cold udon noodles served with various toppings sprinkled on top), kamatama udon (kamaage udon mixed with raw egg), kake udon (simple udon noodles in broth)and zaru udon (chilled udon noodles topped with shredded nori). We also offer homemade tempura and omusubi rice balls.
The outer decor of the restaurant uses wood while the cooking area is designed imaging caldron pots.
